Welcome to our twos program! It’s one of the most energetic and driven stages of your child’s development. At this stage, children are developing independence and beginning to play with purpose.
Our twos program focuses on their development of speech and problem solving. Two-year-olds are beginning to express their independence and desires, and our teachers are here to help direct them in conflict management and intentional play. At this stage, we focus on teaching them how to express themselves with their words, with activities focused on group play, and by guiding them to work together while still expressing their individualism.
Like all of our programs, we have a focus on nature with dedicated outside time that includes gardening and a classroom pet that the children will interact with and learn about. We also have a dedicated class plant that children will similarly learn about with direction from their teacher.
Caters to Children aged 2 years – 3 years
- Twos Program Daily Schedule:
- 7:00 am – 9:00 am: Drop-off/Breakfast Time
- 9:00 am – 9:30 am: Clean-up/Care Routines
- 9:30 am – 10:15 am: Morning Outside Time or Equivalent Exercise Time
- 10:15 am – 11:00 am: Indoor Morning Activities
- 11:00 am – 11:30 am: Care Routines
- 11:30 am – 12:00 pm: Lunchtime
- 12:00 am – 12:30 pm: Clean-up/Nap Time Set-up
- 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm: Nap Time
- 2:30 pm – 3:00 pm: Clean-up/ Care Routines
- 3:00 pm – 3:30 pm: Afternoon Snack Time
- 3:30 pm – 4:00 pm: Afternoon Outside Time or Equivalent Exercise Time
- 4:00 pm – 4:30 pm: Indoor Afternoon Activities
- 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm: Care Routines
- 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Clean-up/Pick-up Time
