We’re so excited that you are interested in joining our little ladybug family for the summer! Our summer program runs from the second to last week of May to the second to last week of August. We have a vested interest in supporting and facilitating the growth of your child. Summer is the best season for outdoor fun and our camp takes full advantage of that! We’re so ecstatic to share our varied and skill building summer portfolio with your child.
Our summer program is filled to the brim with nature activities. Our biggest focus this summer will be assisting our children in growing their very own garden and flower beds. Children learn best when they’re allowed to explore with their own hands and we’re excited to help them learn all about gardening! Our other outside activity is weekly water times, with sprinklers, slides and more! Other activities we will have available include daily art times that are student led, our teachers provide them with a variety of materials and assist when needed. Each classroom has a class pet and class plant for the students to assist in the daily care of, and get daily sensory time with. School age children will also be provided with daily special activity time that varies from fun yoga lessons to musical activities!
We are a brand new facility, our owner had years of experience in the childcare field before deciding to open a daycare of her own, tailored to connect with kids and provide families with affordable, quality childcare. Our summer camp is an extension of our year round care with extra activities designed to cater to school age kids for months of summer fun!
Caters to School Age Children, 10 and Under
School Age Program Daily Schedule:
- 7:00 am – 9:00 am: Drop-off/Breakfast Time
- 9:00 am – 9:15 am: Clean-up
- 9:15 am – 10:15 am: Morning Outside Time or Equivalent Exercise Time
- 10:15 am – 11:15 am: Indoor Morning Activities
- 11:15 am – 11:30 am: Clean-up
- 11:30 am – 12:00 pm: Lunchtime
- 12:00 am – 12:15 pm: Clean-up
- 12:15 pm – 1:00 pm: Gardening Time
- 1:00 pm – 1:45 pm: Independent Activity Time
- 1:45 pm – 2:30 pm: Rotating Special Activity
- 2:30 pm – 3:00 pm: Afternoon Snack Time
- 3:00 pm – 3:15 pm: Clean-up
- 3:15 pm – 4:00 pm: Afternoon Outside Time or Equivalent Exercise Time
- 4:00 pm – 4:30 pm: Art Time
- 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm: Indoor Afternoon Activities
- 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Clean-up/Pick-up Time
