Welcome to our Infant program! It’s one of the most fascinating and important stages of your child’s development. Developmental growth skyrockets from the newborn stage to the toddler stage. At these stages, your child is just beginning to explore and understand the world around them.
Our infant program caters to your child’s schedule. While we do serve breakfast, lunch and a snack at scheduled times, our infants all sleep and play at their own pace. Our focus is on having them learn how to interact with their peers and guiding them to utilize the wide variety of sensory experiences available in the classroom. From 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m., we have a rotating special activity that includes everything from baby yoga to introductory art time. Activities will be posted with the curriculum.
Like all of our classrooms, we have a focus on nature. The infants have designated outside time to experience the outdoors in our young playground with their teachers, weather permitting. We also have a designated class plant to provide each infant with sensory time to encourage their connection with the world around them.
Caters to Children aged 6 weeks to 12 months
Infant Program Daily Schedule:
- 7:00 am – 9:00 am: Drop-off/Breakfast Time
- 9:00 am – 9:30 am: Clean-up/Care Routines
- 9:30 am – 10:15 am: Morning Outside Time or Equivalent Exercise Time
- 10:15 am – 11:00 am: Indoor Morning Activities
- 11:00 am – 11:30 am: Care Routines
- 11:30 am – 12:00 pm: Lunchtime
- 12:00 am – 12:30 pm: Clean-up
- 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm: Sensory Activities/Outside Time
- 1:30 pm – 2:00 pm: Care Routines
- 2:00 pm – 2:30 pm: Rotating Special Activity
- 2:30 pm – 3:00 pm: Afternoon Snack Time
- 3:00 pm – 3:30 pm: Clean-up/Care Routines
- 3:30 pm – 4:00 pm: Afternoon Outside Time or Equivalent Exercise Time
- 4:00 pm – 4:30 pm: Indoor Afternoon Activities
- 4:30 pm – 5:00 pm: Care Routines
- 5:00 pm – 6:00 pm: Clean-up/Pick-up Time
